Data & AI – Your data, your choice
We use your uploads to run your analysis and deliver your report. Whether your data also helps improve the AI is your explicit choice — never fine print.
What we always do
- Process your video, images, or documents for your analysis and your report.
- Store your analysis results in your account so you can access them and export PDFs.
- Keep an audit trail (input/output hash, model version, timestamp) so results are verifiable for compliance.
- Retain data only as needed to serve your account and your analyses.
What we never do
- We do not sell your data to third parties.
- We do not share your data with third parties for advertising.
- We do not use your data for AI improvement without your explicit opt-in (see below).
- Third-party foundation models we call (Google Vertex AI, Anthropic) do not train on your data per their enterprise terms.
The Data Improvement Program (opt-in)
Customers who join the Data Improvement Program allow us to use their anonymized inspection data — footage frames, findings, and expert corrections, with vessel identity, positions, and commercial metadata stripped — to make the AI measurably better for everyone. In return, program members get preferential terms and early access to accuracy improvements their own data helped create.
- Explicit consent per tenant — agreed in your contract or account settings, never assumed.
- Anonymized before use — asset identity (IMO, name), location tracks, and commercial terms are removed or pseudonymized.
- Auditable — the same lineage discipline as our reports: we can show which datasets trained which model version.
- Revocable — leave the program at any time; your future data stays analysis-only.
